my story
As a small-town Canadian boy living in Dundas, Ontario, I remember one of the most exciting things to happen on a hot summer day was when my dad mistakenly took my brother and I as toddlers to see Jurassic Park. From then on, I spent my childhood in and out of theatres seeing every movie I possibly could.
The cinema has always been, and will always be, the thing I love, and over the past 14 years, I have advanced from Post PA to Editor through a deep commitment to my craft. As time goes on, I grow more resolute in my belief that there is no greater privilege than to be a professional artist.
experience
My experience includes managing picture editing, sound design, scoring, and VFX workflows, and collaborating closely with directors, producers, composers, and executives. I regularly run spotting sessions, note sessions, and large-scale reviews, ensuring clear communication while maintaining creative visions. I oversee projects from assembly through final delivery, shaping complex edits into compassionate and compelling narratives.
I have led teams of assistant editors, mentored junior staff, and maintained highly organized editorial pipelines under tight deadlines. Comfortable working with high-profile talent, I approach every session with professionalism and discretion. With more than a decade of experience working on AVID, a sharp sense of timing, and a balance of creative instinct and technical precision, I contribute meaningfully at every stage of post-production.
